Come chat Jets with me: @Pontecarloblue
NF: Where did you learn about football – When? and from Who?
AA: In the 80s in the UK American Football started being shown on Channel 4 and it was very popular; my parents went to New York for a holiday and brought me back a Jets jersey in 1987 and that was it, I was a New York Jets fan and have followed the team and the sport ever since.
NF: Priorities of Life: What are your top 3?
AA: Family, friends and football!
NF: If you had any job in the world – what would it be, and why?
AA: I’d like to run a cafe that doubled as a doggy day care and sports bar and sewing room…..that way I could eat cake, watch sports, pet dogs and make dresses. Sounds practical I’m sure!
NF: How has your association with NFLFemale been a positive influence in your world?
AA: Finding NFLFemale has been brilliant for me. I have found a community of likeminded people who love the game and support it and each other in a positive, proactive and friendly way. I have had the pleasure of meeting some other NFLFemale fans when they’ve been in the UK for the International games and know that I will continue to build friends through the community over the years to come.
NF: If you want to know the real side of sports legends, listen to their kids and grandkids. What do you hope others say about you?
AA: I hope that they will say that I was kind, that I was there when they needed me to support them when times are tough and to celebrate and lift them up when things are good. Oh, and that I make a good G&T.
Be sure to follow and say hello to me: @Pontecarloblue
