Come chat Bears with me @WandaW63
NF: Where did you learn about football – When? and from Who?
WW: I watched football games on TV. I was the only one in my family who loved sports so I made it my own. As I got older I would read books on how to play football, what the positions were and some of the plays. It made it much more exciting when I knew what they were doing.
NF: Priorities of Life: What are your top 3?
WW: My top three life priorities are God, family and giving back to others.
NF: If you had any job in the world – what would it be, and why?
WW: I would love to be a sports writer full-time because there is so much one can learn from a single game. The outcome of a game that began as a Cinderella story or a player who came from adversity and brought the love of the game to an entire team. So much there!
NF: How has your association with NFLFemale been a positive influence in your world?
WW: NFLFemale allowed me to express myself as a fan and grow as a writer. The support for each other is never one-sided or for selfish gain but that we genuinely want each other to succeed in whatever field it is. Whether as a field reporter, podcast radio, team analyst or writer. There is mad respect for each other and the teams we love and it is expressed in our articles and podcasts.
NF: If you want to know the real side of sports legends, listen to their kids and grandkids. What do you hope others say about you?
WW: That I always looked beyond the majority opinion. That I wrote with passion and conviction, never once degrading a player but seeing much more than the average person. Mainly, that I truly loved sports and wanted to share that with anyone who would hear.
